WAIT 48-72 HOURS BEFORE WASHING YOUR HAIR
After your color or blonding appointment the hair needs time for its internal bonds and cuticle to stabilize. Washing too soon can disrupt this process and affect the strength, tone, or longevity of the result.
HEALTHY HAIR - SHOWER HABITS
Avoid overly hot water and letting water run continuously through the hair, as this can lift the cuticle and reduce longevity. Shampoo gently at the scalp, allow the lather to cleanse through the lengths, and condition mid-lengths to ends.
WET HAIR AND STYLING
Detangle gently using a wide-tooth comb or brush, starting at the ends and working upward to avoid stress on the hair. Pat dry with a towel rather than rubbing, and use low heat with a heat protectant when blow-drying to preserve the integrity of the chemical service

EVERYDAY CLEANSING
CLEANSING GUIDELINES
Wash frequency depends on hair type, texture, scalp oiliness, and lifestyle — there’s no one-size-fits-all.
-
Fine or oily hair may need washing more often (e.g., every other day or a few times a week).
-
Thick, dry, or curly hair usually benefits from less frequent washing to preserve natural oils.
-
Over-washing can strip natural oils and lead to dryness or scalp sensitivity, while under-washing can cause buildup.
Consider hair as 3 ranges (dry, normal, oily), adjust schedule as needed.
CLARIFYING GUIDELINES
Clarifying shampoos are deeper cleansers designed to remove product buildup, oils, minerals (like hard water), and residue that regular shampoos may not fully remove.
-
Use clarifying shampoo occasionally, not daily — for many folks that means once every 2–6 weeks depending on product use and buildup.
-
If you use lots of styling products (silicones, gels, dry shampoo), you might clarify a bit more often — roughly every few weeks.
-
Overuse can dry out hair and fade color if you’re color treated, so balance it with moisture reinforcers afterward.
Clarifying isn’t part of a daily wash, use only as a reset.

DEEP CONDITIONING
& MASQUES
CLEANSING GUIDELINES
Hair masks (deep conditioning treatments) are typically richer than everyday conditioners and meant to restore moisture, strengthen, and nourish hair, especially after cleansing.
-
Once a week for dry, damaged, or chemically treated hair.
-
Often after clarifying or deeper cleansing sessions to help replenish hydration.
Masques are repair + hydration. Don't use daily because they're heavy.
